An Unexpected Gift

A few weeks ago, I received a package with a very special gift in it. My Bestie Westie over at Peacefully Knitting was sweet enough to send me this beautiful hand embroidered vintage scottie.
Isn’t it lovely? She said when she saw the pattern she knew she had to make it for me. I am so happy she did. The colors match my dining room perfectly (does she know me or what?)
There is nothing like handmade gifts, especially ones that you get for no particular reason except that someone really likes you. This gift has found the perfect home in my front bay window.
