Camping Tip: Eggs

I read this tip on a camping site and I tell you, it was the best. I emptied a dozen eggs into a mason jar for easy travel. ¬†They fit perfect in the cooler without the worry of breaking them. You just pour them out as you need them. It was a great tip so I figured I’d pass it along.

Great Tip! It took me several minutes to realize these were cracked eggs emptied into the jar.

Hi, just found this through another site I found on Pinterest… how long do the eggs keep?? If cracked on Wednesday night prior to departure, could we eat them Thursday or Friday morning?

Thanks for visiting Renee! We keep the eggs for about 3 days. We find we use them all up by then. Good Luck! You can check out my other camp cooking here.
