Crispity Crunchity Cucumbers

The neighbor gave us our first cucumbers of the season last night. I can’t help it, when I get the first cucumbers of the season, I need to make them into pickles right away. I am not sure why, but I always get a craving.
I cut them up and place them in a bowl.
Then I add cider vinegar, sugar and pepper to taste.
I mix them up and leave them overnight in the fridge. I LOVE THEM. We ate through them all tonight at dinner. What do you do with your “first of the season” cucumbers?

I will be trying these, as soon as we get some warm weather. Thanks for your comment, the dog and the knitting cooperated for the photos, those lobsters were thrashing a bit!
