Lavender Rosemary Mint Tea
8 Jul 2010
As you know, I have been working very hard on my herb garden. I am finally starting to see a big return for my hard work. I got to enjoy some of that hard work yesterday.
A few weeks ago, I picked some lavender rosemary and mint for tea. I used equal parts of each, cleaned them, pulled the leaves and flowers off the stems and put them in a brown paper bag on the counter.
Once the herbs were dry, I steeped them in my tea pot for 10 mins. Because it’s been a bit hot outside these days, I poured it over ice. It is SO yummy. You must try this. Enjoy.

Oh, congrats on the herbs! I do miss my herb garden. All that’s left of mine is the Be Balm, Ginger Mind, and Lemon Balm. My favorite old herb tea recipe is rose hips, ginger mint and lemon balm- my own conconction. I especially like it iced.

Awesome! Would love to have some home-grown herbal tea. A few months ago, my husband started a herb garden. we went on vacation for a week — the garden did not survive. :( We’re supposed to purchase some new herb plants and try again. . .

Mine almost died at first, but I just kept watering it and it came up like crazy. I think it really likes the spot it’s in. You should try again. I SO love going to pick fresh herbs for last min. dinner ideas! Let me know how it goes!
