Soaking Up Summer
16 Aug

Today is August 16th. How did that happen?

I have been working so hard to enjoy every ounce of Summer this year.

When it wasn’t too hot to go outside, we did Boston, drove a duck boat,
went on hiking adventures,

participated in the Independence Festival,

taught Griff how to fish,

spent lots of time at lots of beaches,

attended a few concerts, did lots of cooking, visited a ton of playgrounds,
and farmers markets,
went camping,
and kayaking,
and so much in between.
Looking on it in photos makes me realize how much we have done this Summer.
It also makes me realize how much more I still want to do.
It’s ok Fall, I know you are threatening…but please hold off a little longer.
Just give me a few more weeks to take it all in.

Thank you for following my chronicles on knitting, sewing, photography, cooking, wine and whatever life brings. Cheers!

That was awesome.
Tell me about it!! Summer goes WAY too fast! You have had a pretty awesome one from the looks of things though. We’re trying to squeeze in just a couple more camping trips, so I’ll cross my fingers for you, if you do the same for me :)
