Something in the Air
1 Sep
It was very exciting around Southern New Hampshire last weekend. The Boston/Pease airshow was here, and what a show it was. Saturday we met up with my parents to cruise up the river for a view of the planes. We had no idea how good of a view it would be.
The boys took control of the helm and Griffin guided us through all the red and green markers.
The sun was out and there was a nice cool breeze on the river. We couldn’t have asked for a better day.
You all know me, I had to get in some knitting and the boyz fooled around on the bow while waiting for the show to start.
You just couldn’t beat this view.
Then the Blue Angels came blasting out of no where.
I tried taking as many shots as I could, but they were so fast, I only caught a few.
Now, I know nothing about flying. But the speed and accuracy these guys fly these planes at is just breathtaking. The boat next to us informed us that they actually fly at 18 inches apart! Yikes, better be sure no one sneezes!
What a fantastic time we had. I have to say, we have been having a stellar summer, but I think this day took the cake. Once the planes were gone, we hung out, had some wine (of course!) and enjoyed the sounds of the waves hitting the hull.
It was a day to remember for sure.

Thank you for following my chronicles on knitting, sewing, photography, cooking, wine and whatever life brings. Cheers!
