Thanksgiving 2012 Hits
25 Nov 2012
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Food, Wine and family, how could we go wrong? This year, I prepared an appetizer and a dessert. I wanted to share these with you because they are simple no-bake recipes that may be just perfect for your next holiday party. First, I made these Hot Pepper Peach Cheese Cups from Stonewall Kitchen.
They are a quick and simple appetizer with big taste. I used Stonewall Kitchen’s regular Hot Pepper Jelly in place of the peach. They were a big hit!
For dessert I found these Pumpkin Cheesecake Shooters on Skinnytaste.com. Another simple dish. The layers can be made ahead of time, placed into a piping bag and refrigerated until needed, which makes this a great “make ahead” dish.
I used small disposable wine glasses for serving dishes and found the cute little spoons to match. They are a simple delish dessert.
A beautiful Thanksgiving with plenty of wonderful food. A big thank you to our gracious hosts, my Aunt and Uncle. It’s always such a treat to go north and visit the beautiful farm house. It’s a true New England Thanksgiving!
