The Goods On the Yarnie Group

I did a debrief post a few months ago on our Monday Night Yarnie Group, Connected Loops (on ravelry). It was fun to document all the amazing projects people are working on. I thought I would try to make this a reoccurring post.  I hope you enjoy seeing our latest and greatest WIPs and FO’s. (Rav names are used to protect the not so innocent!)

The Rib and Cable Top

I love this top. Gravitystorm used Comfy Worsted by Knitpicks, colorway Pomegranate. Yep- I TOTALLY need to make something with this yarn!

Socks for Gravitystorm, she is making these all for herself!

She is using DyeDreams Classy Sox, colorway Azure. They are so pretty.

This is a felted piece with needle felting. It is so pretty!

Nddphoto is working on her “nobody puts baby in the corner” sweater. She is using the yarn, Dream In Color Classy, colorway Happy Forrest.

Nddphoto is also working on socks for her hubby. She had this Franconia fingering weight yarn from NHKnittingMama custom died to make a camo pattern. It’s amazing how it’s coming out.

Michellewheeler is working on a sweater for her toddler. She has a wee one on the way and her mother is making a matching sweater to this one for the baby. I can’t wait to see it- I love the seed stitch.

Bicoastalgirl just started a nice summer cotton sweater in this beautiful salmon color.

She is also working on this beautiful scarf. The pictures don’t show the verigation in the yarn. It has pink and purple highlights that are beautiful.

And of course- my “Bar Harbor Hat”.  I used Berocco Prima Cotton and LOVED it. I will definitely buy the Prima yarn again. I completed the hat last night, I will write another post soon on it. I am SO pleased with it and created the pattern myself. It is such a pretty and quick project. The perfect gift for holiday knitting.
