The Pumpkin Spice Donuts
21 Oct
I’ve seen on more than one of the blogs I follow, a link to these amazing looking Baked Pumpkin Spiced Donut Holes. As soon as we saw them, we HAD to try them. Into the mixer the pumpkin went!
I know these were suppose to be “baked” donut holes, but my vintage Jenn-air stove came with a cast iron frialator attachment. I haven’t had a sweet enough excuse to take it out…then came these donuts! So our Wednesday with Mimi was my introduction to frying, with Pumpkin Spice Donuts!
We used the exact recipe as the Craving Chronicles (frying once won’t hurt right?)
For the sugar covering, I used cinnamon, nutmeg (to give them a little extra kick) and sugar (no butter). OH SO MUCH YUMMINESS I CAN HARDLY CONTAIN IT!
Happy Frying! LOL!

Thank you for following my chronicles on knitting, sewing, photography, cooking, wine and whatever life brings. Cheers!

Ok, the weather is cooler, I have pumpkin, I have a fryer and I’m hungry…care to guess what we are having this morning? Thanks for this!
Have a great weekend!
xx
How yummy and thanks for sharing! I’ll have to try the baked version but I know the fried version is ever so much better :)
